FUYU HARVEST is a study I had made of the persimmon tree in our backyard. The tree existed on the property before we moved in and was neglected for several years. After 2 years of pruning properly, amending the soil, and scheduled watering, the tree had returned with a bountiful harvest. This piece was made for my mother who lives 3000 miles away, whom had never eaten a fuyu persimmons fruit before.
